Thank you to all the deadly women who joined us for the first-ever National Indigenous Women’s Fire Workshop 'Ngangkirna Kardlatidli: Women With Fire'. It was truly inspiring to see over 100 First Nations women gather on Kaurna Country earlier this month – to yarn, learn, share culture and discuss responsibilities to Country. From monitoring workshops to yarning circles about truth-telling and women’s roles in Cultural Fire, 'Ngangkirna Kardlatidli' had something for everyone.
“So grateful for the efforts by all to make this event happen. Such a privilege and honour to participate. A beautiful experience of uplifting women, uplifting culture, making connections, seeing strong role models of all generations raising the bar high for all us. You make us proud and we celebrate your successes. Just exceptional.”

'Ngangkirna Kardlatidli' allowed our broader women’s fire network to come together and connect, as we continue to support and advocate for women on Country.
