Indigenous Knowledge for Climate Resilience: Chris and Trinity on Country

Gudjal Country
“The Traditional Owners and the graziers all want the same outcome: a healthy landscape for their family and their community.” — Chris Poole, NQ Dry Tropics. The Indigenous Knowledge for Climate Resilience project is exploring how Indigenous Knowledge, like Cultural Fire, can address challenges that have impacted the grazing industry for decades. Traditional Owners and community are leading the way to monitor, document and put good fire on Country. Supported by the Australian Government's Climate-Smart Agriculture Program, this project champions First Nations knowledge to enhance the health of agricultural landscapes, benefiting landholders and community members alike.
