Living Knowledge Place (LKP) supports teachers to meaningfully embed Indigenous perspectives across the curriculum through authentic, community-led learning.
More than a resource platform, LKP enables learning that connects students to people, place and Community. It supports deeper cultural understanding, strengthens critical thinking, and fosters genuine engagement in the classroom.
Through real stories, lived experience and connections to Country, LKP invites students to explore the science, culture and knowledge systems of First Nations peoples in respectful and engaging ways.
Bring Indigenous Knowledge Systems to life
Through place-based learning experiences, students engage with knowledge that is applied, observed and understood in context.
From practices such as Cultural Fire to broader relationships across Country, learning moves beyond theory to support real-world understanding of how knowledge is held, shared and practised.
This builds respect for Indigenous knowledge systems and strengthens students’ connection to Country in a meaningful and practical way.
