Indigenous Knowledge for Climate Reslience

Supported by the Australian Government's Climate-Smart Agriculture Program, this groundbreaking collaboration unites First Nations communities, partner organisations, and graziers to revitalise Queensland’s agricultural landscapes through Cultural Fire. We're showcasing how Indigenous knowledge can be integrated into modern grazing practices to boost climate resilience, improve profitability, and enhance ecosystem health.
On Wakka Wakka Country, landholders are working with Cultural Fire Practitioners to return fire to Country after more than 120 years, healing landscapes and rebuilding cultural connections. We're excited to continue our partnership with Bunya Peoples Aboriginal Corporation in this region.
